Not so far from Iloilo City is the beautiful municipality of Sta. Barbara, where you will have the chance (If the season permits) to experience grapes picking. I have my first grape picking experience when I was in Japan now it's delightful to know that what we used to see in other countries we can now experience in Iloilo.
Nestled along Barangay Lanag Sta. Barbara is Denila Grapes Farm. A 2.7-hectare farm that is home to hybrid Brazilian grapes and sunflowers. The mere thought of grapes growing in a tropical country made the farm a sought after among those who want to experience and taste it.
I was among those who are giddy and curious to want to see the farm and yes to taste the grapes cultivated in Iloilo. So despite the threat of rain me and my fellow bloggers headed to Denila Grapes farm.
Unfortunately, we arrived late and there is nothing left of the grapes for picking anymore. But grape viewing is still allowed for photo ops, groufie, and selfies as there is this certain area in the farm meant for grape viewing alone.
