A Peek Inside The Courtyard by Marriott in Iloilo

Founded in 1982 Courtyard by Marriott was created by its mother company Marriott International to cater to pleasure and business travelers at a mid-range price.

With over 1100+ branches worldwide Courtyard by Marriott further extended its arms in the Philippines and it is the first Courtyard by Marriott in the country. Located at Iloilo Business park, Mandurriao Iloilo City. It opened its door last May 1, 2018, and here's a sneak peek of what is inside the Hotel.

THE LOBBY

The Hotel has tight security, this is to ensure the safety of its guests. Before entering, guests will go through full-body scanners and x-rays. Security personnel along with their k-9 dog pals roamed around the area, parking lots and the main entrance.

THE RUNWAY Kitchen

Iloilo Business Park where the Hotel is located used to be Iloilo's old Airport hence the name of the resto. Runway kitchen offers various cuisine both local and international.

ILoilo Bloggers were invited by Courtyard Marriott Iloilo Marketing Communications Officer Nico Ivan Velasquez for an exclusive tour of the hotel but first, we had our dinner at the Runway Kitchen. I would never deny my love for sashimi and cheese, so the Japanese and Cheese section was my first choice. :D For those who want to try their buffet. The following is the rate

PHP 1100 /nett/person (Sunday to Thursday - International Cuisine)

The Courtyard Lounge

Specially designed for people who prefer to work outside the office and for those people who wants to have a drink or two after work.

The lounge is a perfect place to think outside the box. You can settle down with your laptop and be productive over a cup of coffee.

Business Center and Function Rooms

If you want to have a secluded place to hold your meetings. The Courtyard by Marriott's business center can be rented for a day. You'll get access to high-speed internet up to 250 Mbps and you will also be provided with your secretary to assist with your needs.

The courtyard has 5 events room with a 220 capacity largest space. You can choose from different room set-ups: Banquet, theater, conference, classroom and many more.

Business equipment and services are also offered like printers, copy and fax services and overnight delivery/pick-up.

CONCIERGE CLUB

The concierge club can be accessed by guests who book rooms with concierge lounge access. Located on the 15th floor of the hotel. It has its own private access floor, lounge area, meeting room, computer room and complimentary food such as hors-d'oeuvresres, desserts, snacks, teas and complimentary alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

THE POOL AREA
I am really captivated by the pool being a person who loves swimming pool I am really tempted to dive in hahaha. This is one of the beautiful pools I have ever seen. It's really relaxing given that is located on the second floor of the hotel it has a good view of Iloilo Business Park.

An open restaurant and bar are also located near the pool in case one wants to dine.

Fitness Center

A well-equipped fitness center complete with Sauna. I wouldn't mind spending hours shedding my fats in this gym.

The shower and dressing area is luxuriously designed.

THE ROOMS

Think ok how comfortable it is to sleep in a Php 200,000 worth bed? the Courtyard by Marriott made sure that their guest will have the best sweet dreams of their life, knowing that traveling can be really stressful and tiresome. So, how wonderful it is that at the end of the day you'll get to sleep in a very comfy bed.

Each bed from the hotel were imported and was customized made with cotton and polyester.

The room is equipped with ottoman , ergonomic chair and desk, iron and ironing board, bathroom needs,TV with the following features: remote control, 40in/102cm, and flat screen, Premium movie channels, Cable/satellite, Phones with voicemails features and of course internet access
