I was flipping through the pages of my planner that also serves as my diary and a question I've written a few months back caught my attention. Written in bold letters and highlighted in yellow. "What is the number one reason, you are not following your dream today?" a wave of self -reproach and glumness washed over me. Because that same question - I am asking myself today.
Life lately have caused me to discontinue what I was so keen to accomplish a few months back. Things are jarring in my emotional universe and my need for clarity is even making it difficult to coincide. This morning though I decided to sort things out and find the answers to what keeps me postponing my life long dreams.
1. The feeling of not being good enough - Let's face it, this is one of the biggest dream crusher. We all
have that insecurity in us that will constantly remind us for not being
good enough.
2. The fear of rejection - that could escalate to myriads of doubts. Most of the time this fear stop us from pursuing our dreams, from putting that life long ideas into actuality because fear limits our options.
3.Afraid to take risks - I have this one plan that I have kept for the past years, but I was too afraid to take risks because I fear that it might not turn out the way I expected it to be.
4.The Procrastinating Process - You know that "I will as soon as I...." thing? We are always waiting for the perfect timing to do what we want to do but in the end we will realize that we've just wasted a large span of our time and yet that perfect timing never came.
5. The Fear of Criticism - Who loves to be critiqued? no one does I guess. It's like a ticking TNT that everyone would run away from and it's one of the biggest dream crusher. You can never pleased everybody.
What are you biggest dream crusher? share it on the comment box below and oh by the way I got this really cute Bowtie Contrast Tiered Mini Dress from www.oasap.com the dress features a front bowtie, pleated waist, open shoulder and tiered skirt. ReplyDeleteDream crushers are the worst... I have let them take control of my life for far too long myself... I used to think I was meant to be with someone but now that I can see the here and now, I realize I never would have been fully happy with him as I can not see myself living up north in a little town of 5,000 people... I would have been bored out of my mind... Because of that dream, where I could see nothing else, I allowed it to crush many of my dreams... I am working on changing them though. I hope you go after all yours, you deserve them xox
Ay 3 and 4 ate.. super! Thanks for sharing this love the total look!

This is a very cute dress. For many years I was afraid to pursue anything in the fashion world, but I am happy doing it now and that is all that matters. Sometimes, you have to take risks.

I can't answer the question. I don't even know what my dream is anymore. I feel you ^_^ They're all my reason too yet I don't know which one is my top reason. I hope you could also make a review of ordering clothes online and your experiences with it. You're beautiful.
